Gummed paper tape (water activated kraft paper tape) is a strong paper tape with vegetable glue, that isn't sticky until you wet it. You can wet it with a wet cloth or a sponge.
So far I used it on the Ninja freezer boxes in the fridge where it sticks well. I also tried it on Sistema, but that did not work. The tape came off after it dried completely. I will give it a go on glass next.

Great label for glass storage jars
Use this to label glass jars. Sticks beautifully once dry. Removes without leaving any residue once wetted again

This was just what I wanted for our plastic-free (as much as possible) living. Also I like that the rubber extends out at the edges so that I can get the corners without scratching the glass.
If your tires of those plastic pegs break, I fully recommend getting these ones. Strong, quality and no issues about breaking. Ordering was easy. Delivery has quick. We would definitely buy them again (if we needed more).
