This peg hanger is rust-proof, designed to be able to use outdoors & indoors.
You could keep it outdoors if not close to oceans or high in sulphur regions. Bento Ninja still recommends it to be kept when not in use.
Recommend to wash every now and then to remove any built-up dust, dirt and bird droppings. It might show some signs of surface tarnish on welding or bent parts of the hanger. These are generally caused by the welding heat and cross-contamination with other metals. Not to confused with stainless steel corrosions (they should not corrode further)
Bento Ninja is not responsible for the damage from impact(by falls, winds etc), general use, and tarnish when it’s kept outside permanently.

I loved my original lot that I got 4 years ago so much that I bought a second set. We added another child to the family so needed more. I now have two hangers and bucket loads of pegs (can you ever have too many?). The original set are still in perfect condition.

Love these pegs. Have purchased a few sets over the years. As my plastic ones broke, I replaced them with stainless steel ones. I tried to be cheap and buy cheaper ss pegs (not bento ninja), but aftera year or so they've already gone rusty...so they are now in the bin and replace with good quality bento ninja ones...I really think they be a family heirloom :)
Purchased a similar style lunchbox elsewhere for cheaper only to get it home and find their was a gap between the compartments and lid seals... needless to say that was returned, I paid a bit more to get the Bento Ninja lunchbox which does seal, looks cool and is exactly what I was wanting! Love the secure clasps on the ends. Very happy!
These pegs are perfect for anyone spending time on a boat. Good strong pegs to keep those towels drying in the wind. Plan to get more for home when we finish our boating. Highly recommend..
This is a great addition to the bento ninja family. It’s nice having a container with an easy to remove lid for the freezer. Mine is currently full of blueberries that I will dip into regularly for my breakfast. Hopefully other sizes (bigger and smaller) will become available too.
