This peg hanger is rust-proof, designed to be able to use outdoors & indoors.
You could keep it outdoors if not close to oceans or high in sulphur regions. Bento Ninja still recommends it to be kept when not in use.
Recommend to wash every now and then to remove any built-up dust, dirt and bird droppings. It might show some signs of surface tarnish on welding or bent parts of the hanger. These are generally caused by the welding heat and cross-contamination with other metals. Not to confused with stainless steel corrosions (they should not corrode further)
Bento Ninja is not responsible for the damage from impact(by falls, winds etc), general use, and tarnish when it’s kept outside permanently.

This container is perfect for food storage. I appreciate how lightweight it is. The clear lid makes it easy to figure out the contents. It’s non magnetic so shouldn’t rust. This is a decent size container. Would be great to have a smaller version too (portion for 1 person)
This is by far the best quality lunchbox I’ve ever owned. Keeps food fresh on a hot day and the compartments are useful for storing a variety of foods. Deep compartments to hold foods such as yogurt and it does not leak. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality well made product that will last for years and years and years.
